Driving While Disqualified

Driving whilst disqualified is considered a serious offence, and as such the maximum penalty on conviction is a fine of up to £5000 and/or six months imprisonment. There is also an obligatory endorsement of 6 penalty points. The offence is subject to a discretionary disqualification. Often the courts also consider community service and/or anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs).

In cases of driving whilst disqualified we strongly recommend representation at court. Our road traffic specialists can prepare a strong plea of mitigation seeking to keep the sentence on the lower end of the scale.
